Tuition Policies:
- ❖ All NEW students are offered one free trial lesson.
- ❖ All tuition rates can be applied to a single-household family. For example, all children/step-children living in the same homecan add their hours together when determining tuition costs. See the front desk for details.
- ❖ You may take classes at both locations and add up your hours the same. All locations are Hart Academy of Dance.
- ❖ An annual registration fee of $25 per student, and $15 each additional child, is due upon registration. (Registration fee is validone season August-July).
- ❖ Before starting classes, you must enroll, pay the registration fee, and your first month’s tuition online.
- ❖ You will be billed every month, on the 1st, once you are registered. If you will be discontinuing lessons, please submit a droprequest form in person or through email, so we can stop billing your account. You must submit the form by the 23rd of thePREVIOUS month in order not to pay for the next month’s tuition.
- ❖ Invoices will be emailed and are available to view on your customer portal.
- ❖ All tuition and monthly fees are due on the 7th of each month and will be automatically charged to your credit or debit card onfile. Being on autopay is a requirement at Hart Academy of Dance. If you do not wish to have your tuition and fees deducted from your credit/debit card, you can pay by cash or check prior to the 7th. If your card declines, please update with a new card on file. If your card declines and no replacement card is added, a late fee will be assessed on the 10th for $25. Hart reserves the right to charge the card on file until payment is made in full. Hart reserves the right to stop lessons due to non-payment and drop students from classes.
- ❖ If you wish to change your classes, you must confirm enrollment with the front desk before starting the new classes.
- ❖ Hart will prorate tuition if a student registers during the middle of the month. We do not refund for classes droppedmid-month.
- ❖ You may make up a class; however, you must schedule it with the desk manager before class is taken. Make-ups are to betaken within one month of the missed class. All makeups expire after one month of missed class.
- ❖ If you are enrolled in a full class, you must pay full tuition each month to remain registered for the class. Non-payment orexcessive absences will forfeit your spot in the class.
- ❖ Our billing is based on the calendar year. Hart does not charge for the occasional 5th week lesson in each month. However,we do not give refunds for classes closed due to holidays. Students are allowed to make up technique classes due toclosures.
- ❖ All customers will have access to his or her Jackrabbit portal. You may make payments and check statements on this site.
- ❖ Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted in the studio.
- ❖ Returned checks will be charged an additional $25 along with the original payment.
- ❖ If classes must transition to Zoom, all tuition rates will remain the same.
Studio, Class. and Lobby Policies
- ❖ There is no supervision offered in the lobby or common areas. Hart Academy of Dance is not responsible for students who exit the facility without parent supervision. We encourage parents to be vigilant and know when their child is done with class.
- ❖ Dancers may take only water into the classrooms.
- ❖ All ages for classes are as of November 1, 2023. The director reserves the right to approve the correct level for each dancer.

Covid Response
In the event that a dancer tests positive with Covid-19, per recommendations from the OC Health Department the following will occur:
- ❖ We will notify the people that were in the same classroom as the person, if given permission.
- ❖ We are not allowed to disclose any names or details.
- ❖ A deep cleaning of our facility will be conducted- the facility will not close unless instructed by the OC Health Department
- ❖ If a staff member or student is positive, clearance from a physician will be required before being allowed back.
- ❖ We reserve the right to change our Covid policies as the state and county requirements change.
Parking Policies
- ❖ Please ALWAYS walk your children into the studio. Many people drive quickly through our parking lot.
- ❖ When picking up, we recommend that you walk in to pick up your students. Again, the parking lot can be dangerous, and wewant to ensure the safety of all customers.
- ❖ At 1279 E. La Habra Blvd. location, you can drop off at the drop off cone or in front of our front door. Be aware of dancers and customers walking through the parking lot at all times.

- Black or ballet pink tights
- Leotard
- Skirt (Level 1-2 ONLY)

Tap, Jazz and Contemporary-
- No jeans
- No baggy clothing
- Shorts, crop tops, leotards, leggings, tank tops, etc.
- Tap or jazz shoes
Acro-
- Leotard, biketard, crop top, shorts
- No loose clothing or t-shirts
- No shoes or socks
Hip Hop-
- Sneakers
- Loose clothing
Conditioning-
- No jeans
- No baggy clothing.
- Athletic wear

Preschool-
- No street clothes
- Leotards, tights, skirts, shorts, leggings, tank tops, etc.
- Hair up and secured
- Ballet & Tap Combo: Tap and ballet shoes
- Jazz & Hip Hop Combo: Ballet or jazz shoes and sneakers
All dancers in Level 1-5 must wear their hair in a BUN for all classes. Please come prepared with accessories needed to fix your hair. Level 6 must wear their hair in a BUN for ballet, and up in a ponytail for other classes.
