class dress code
Dancers are required to be in the correct dress code, including hair style when they are in class so they are ready to dance their best! At Hart Academy, our Dress Codes are in place to ensure your dancer’s safety in classes. In addition, our priority is to keep dancers safe, focused, and confident. Wearing the correct attire based on the style of dance allows teachers to see body alignment and movement clearly, which is essential to your dancer’s progress.
If a dancer is not in dress code, they will be asked to step out temporarily until they are ready to join the class again.
In the event of an emergency, there are hair ties and bobby pins available at the front desk! For your convenience, you can find everything your dancer needs from shoes to leotards to tights in the lobby of both studios at the Hart Store!
