Kendra has had a passion and love for dance since a young age. She started dancing at the age of 10 years old at Urban Edge Dance Company and continued there until the age of 18. She competed and danced in many styles like Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Tap. Kendra has received many Overall awards at competitions like Showstopper, KAR, and Hall of Fame, as well as Miss Starpower San Diego 2019. She was on Rancho Cucamonga High School’s dance team and competed with them all 4 years. She has been teaching dance since in 2018, after she graduated high school. Kendra also studied dance at Cal State Long Beach and learned many styles like Modern, Ballet, Improvisation, and African Dance. She now is studying to get her BSN, RN but still wants to pursue a career in teaching dance as well.
Kendra believes that dance is an art and wants to push kids to be their true authentic self through dance. One thing she always loves to say is “Dance like nobody is watching”.
