Kendra Moore
Miss Kendra has had a love for dance since she was 10 years old, when she began training at Urban Edge Dance Company. She danced and competed there through high school, training in styles like Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Tap. Along the way, she earned several awards, including Miss Starpower San Diego 2019.
During high school, she was also a member of the Rancho Cucamonga High School dance team, competing all four years. After graduating, Miss Kendra started teaching dance right away and now has over 7 years of teaching experience. She currently teaches at Urban Edge Dance Co and Hart Dance Academy, where she loves helping dancers grow both in skill and confidence.
She also studied dance at Cal State Long Beach, training in Modern, Ballet, African Dance, and Improvisation. While she’s currently working on her BSN, RN degree in nursing, her heart is still fully in the dance world, and she plans to continue teaching for years to come.
Miss Kendra believes dance is a form of art and self-expression. She encourages her students to be their true, authentic selves and always reminds them:
“Dance like nobody is watching.”
