DANCE CHARTER FUNDING
From September to May, during the school season, families can access funding that covers monthly tuition fee payments at Hart Academy of Dance. However, according to our vendor contracts, families cannot use this funding for registration fees, required clothing, dance shoes, recital participation fees, or any competition related expenses. Additionally, families cannot cash out or receive refunds for any portion of the allotted funds. If there is a any balance remaining after bills are due, the balance must remain on the dancer’s account. Therefore, families must pay any remaining balance that their Charter Funding does not cover.
What’s the Process?
How can I enroll my dancer?
more information
After you decide which class or classes you would like to enroll your dancer in, we will set up your first class Free Trial. All new families are eligible for only one free trial lesson. To schedule your trial, you must complete the NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION online, and be sure to note on this registration that your dancer is in a Charter Program. Additionally, registration will require you to add a credit card on file for security purposes. Also, this card offers convenience for families who wish to purchase studio merchandise or choose to participate in competition and/or performances.
After your Free Trial lesson, you can proceed to enrollment! You will need to inform your school of the monthly tuition rate and they will send your purchase order to Hart. We will invoice your school at the end of each month for the current month’s classes. This typically takes time; therefore, your account may look past due for a brief period. We will personally contact you if we have any concerns about receiving your funding on time.
Please note that Charter schools often do not cover registration fees. Therefore, you may need to pay the annual registration fee after completing your Free Trial lesson.
If you add or drop classes, please be sure to update your school so that they discontinue billing or update the funding rate. Cessation of Charter Funding does not signal a drop from classes. You must submit the drop request (linked here) by the 23rd of the previous month to ensure we remove your dancer from class(es) and stop billing. It is your responsibility to accurately submit requests for funding Tuition payments through your Charter Program monthly. Ultimately, families must pay any remaining balance that their Charter Funding does not cover.
