Lauren Kim Lauren Kim has been dancing since the age of 18 months old. She started dancing and competing with CF Dance Academy in 2015 and trained in many styles like ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, and the Cecchetti method of ballet. She passed her Grade 9 Cecchetti exam and studied Grade 10. She has also received numerous awards at Youth America Grand Prix, California Dance Classics, Showstoppers, Maxt Out, Kidz Carnival, Urban Street Jam, Kids Artistic Revue, Countdown, and more. At YAGP, she has received many awards and recognitions for her large and small ensembles and was cordially invited to their New York Finals for two years.Lauren graduated from Sunny Hills High School in 2020 and was formerly on the Dance Production team where she was the team captain her junior and senior years. She is now the assistant coach for the DP team where has been coaching and choreographing since 2021. Since 2018, she has been involved in teaching, choreographing, and coaching numerous award-winning dances for several dance studios in Orange County. She loves to teach and choreograph and is grateful for being able to share her passion for dance at Hart Academy. Alongside teaching and dancing, she is currently a full-time student attending Pomona College in Claremont, CA. She hopes to receive her doctoral degree for Clinical Psychology, further showcasing her commitment to both the arts and the mental health field.
