Lexy began her dance training at the age of three, studying classical ballet at Long Beach Ballet. She has trained under the instruction of ballet dancers such as, Melissa Sandvig (So You Think You Can Dance Season 5 Finalist) Larissa Saveliev (Youth American Grand Prix Founder and Artistic Director) as well as ballet dancers from the San Francisco Ballet, and the Guangzhou Ballet in China. She has competed at the Youth American Grand Prix Semi Finals, as well as attended ballet festivals such as the Regional Dance America Festival. At the age of 10 she began to learn other styles of dance such as Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and HipHop. Where she worked with choreographers such as Hannahlei Cabanilla (So You Think You Can Dance Season 15 Winner). Lexy began choreographing at the age of 14 for her high school’s advanced dance team, and Musical Theatre program. Her choreography has been competed at dance competitions such as West Coast Elite Dance, Contest of Champions, and Sharp International where her dances have won national titles. After graduating high school, she got her Associates of Arts in Dance, and began to teach dance classes at several dance studios, as well as choreographing for them. Lexy is currently attending CSULB where she is pursuing her Bachelors in Business Administration, and she can’t wait to share her passion, and inspire dancers at Hart.
